Paul Connor

Paul Connor's practice is inspired by the built environment and the journeying through the landscape. He has been exhibiting for thirty years and is represented by Art Atrium. Paul has made contributions to the cultural sector as founding director of the NSW Parliament Plein Air Painting Prize and as a Trustee of both The Australian Museum, and The Lizard Island Reef Research Station.

Paul Connor was a Finalist in the North Sydney Art Prize 2022, Finalist in Calleen Art Award, Georges River Art Prize, Paddington Art Prize, Lethbridge Landscape Prize and Vincent Art Prize in 2021. He was a Finalist in the Mosman Art Prize and Paddington Art Prize in 2020, a Finalist in the KAAF Art Prize in 2018 & 2017 and a Semi-Finalist in Doug Moran Portrait Prize in 2017. Paul Connor participated in Sydney Contemporary in 2021, 2020 and 2018 with Art Atrium as well as Art Central Hong Kong in 2021, 2019 and 2018. His work is in the collection of Art Bank,  Maitland Regional Gallery, Tamworth City Gallery, Logan City Art Gallery, Margaret Olley Foundation, University of Sydney, Cranbrook School and various public and private collections in Australia, Hong Kong and England.
