Bela Ivanyi

Painter Bela Ivanyi has travelled and worked in all states of Australia.

Since 1969 he has had thirty-three solo exhibitions in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra and the NSW Central Coast.

Bela Ivanyi was the Winner of Reader's Digest Drawing Prize 1968, Finalist in Art Gallery of NSW Wynne Prize in 1978, 1981 to 1983 and 2018, Perth Drawing Prize, Fleurieu Art Prize 2000. and the Kedumba Drawing Award 2003.

He is represented in numerous public gallery and museum collections including the Australian National Gallery.

Bela lives on the NSW Central Coast.

Plein Air is a special once only exhibition to celebrate the life and art of Bela Ivanyi OAM. Proceeds from the exhibition will be donated to The Fred Hollows Foundation
