“This painting seeks to capture the quiet charm of a suburban train station in Wahroonga, NSW—a familiar corner of Australia rendered with reverence. The station rises beneath a graceful roofline, bathed in a sublime stillness that draws the eye and stirs the spirit. I draw upon the bold rhythms of Western Pop Art and the delicate intricacies of Eastern lacquer reliefs, weaving together traditions across time and culture. Through a one-point Renaissance perspective and my own Sculptural Painting technique, I strive to breathe depth into the flatness of the canvas—balancing light, form, and memory in a dance of three dimensions upon two.”
