'Abstract art is uniquely modern. It is a fundamentally romantic response to modern life - rebellious, individualistic, unconventional, sensitive, irritable.' Robert Motherwell.

Abstraction is the art of the intangible.  It is a bridge between the visible and the invisible and it enables the artist to perceive beyond the tangible. It also engages the viewer to be an active participant in having a dialogue and completing the work through personal perception and interpretation.

The exhibition 'Intangible - Abstraction in Art' features 13 artists with paintings and sculptures in various forms of abstraction. The exhibited works create a visual language that speaks not through literal representation, but through form, colour and rhythm. They resist the boundaries of the tangible world, inviting the viewer into a realm where meaning is not dictated but discovered. In this space, the artist becomes both architect and poet, constructing images that are less about what is visible and more about what is sensed and perceived.
