27 -31 March 2019

Art Atrium will be presenting an exhibition ‘Spiritual Sense of Place’ at Art Central Hong Kong 2019 with the works of five Contemporary Australian artists – Kate Briscoe, Paul Connor, David Middlebrook, Susan O’Doherty and Andrew Tomkins. Kate Briscoe will be exhibiting her series of landscape paintings which conveys the sensuality of the landscape closely observed in terms of structure, form and textures, from a geological perspective. Paul Connor will continue his exploration of both the natural and urban landscape with the medium of iPad drawings. David Middlebrook will be presenting his new series of work which captures the spirit of landscape during his Artist Residency in Ningbo Art Museum in China in 2018.  Susan O’Doherty will be exhibiting a series of small interesting and yet thought provoking and challenging installation based on our everyday life and home environment.  Andrew Tomkins will have his new series of intricately cut, painted and overlaid polyester film collages reflecting on both the untouched and disburbed natural landscape and environment.
