Simon Chen was invited to be Guest Speaker at the Australian Citizenship Ceremony hosted by The Hon. Tony Burke MP, Minister for Home Affairs, and with Sneha Chatterjee as MC at Addison Road Community Centre at Marrickville on 17 September, Australian Citizenship Day. It was a special occasion being the 75th Anniversary of Australian Citizenship since it was started in 1949 and it also happened to be on the same day as the Mid-Autumn or Moon Festival this year. 118 people from 26 countries attended and officially became ‘Aussies’.
