Online entries for Paddington Art Prize 2013 is now open and the closing date is on Monday 2
September 2013. Paddington Art Prize is a $20,000 acquisitive prize for a painting inspired by
the Australian Landscape. Judges of the art prize in 2013 are Professor Ross Harley, Dean,
College of Fine Arts UNSW, Del Kathryn Barton, Artist and John Firth-Smith, Artist.
Exhibition of National Finalists, Opening Night and Prize Presentation will be held on Thursday
26 September 2013 6-8pm at Mary Place Gallery 12 Mary Place, Paddington. Marlene Antico,
Founder of Paddington Art Prize, andSimon Chan are Co-Principal Sponsors of the art prize.

Congratulations to 4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art and director Aaron Seeto for
winning the Australian Arts in Asia award under the category of Philanthropy.
Congratulations to Art Atrium artist Khue Nguyen for being selected as one of the finalists in
Hutchins Art Prize 2013 Works On Paper. Exhibition of the Finalists will be held at Long
Gallery Salamanca Place, Hobart from 15 to 27 October 2013. Opening and announcement of
the winner will take place on 14 October, 2013. Khue Nguyen will be having a joint exhibition
‘Perpetual Motion’ with Douglas Cham, ceramicist, at Art Atrium from 3 to 28 September
Art Atrium will be participating in Sydney Contemporary, the inaugural international art fair at
Carriageworks, Sydney, exhibiting the works of Art Atrium artists Taro Yamamoto and Brett
Bailey from 20 to 22 September 2013.
Art Atrium artist Nathalie Hartog-Gautier is participating in a group exhibition ‘Unbound’,
curated byRhonda Davis and John Potts, at Macquarie University Art Gallery from 31 July to
7 September 2013.
